Elk: Rocky Valley National Park, Colorado

The Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado ranges in elevation from 8,000 feet to over 14,000 feet. The lower elevations, where this photo was taken, are full of landscapes of wet, grassy valleys where animals roam freely. The elks in the photograph didn’t pay much attention to the galloping photographer, further enhancing the already extant excellent conditions for nature photography.
